We are committed to alleviating the suffering of mental illness by awarding grants that will lead to advances and breakthroughs in scientific research.
100% of dollars raised for research
are invested in grants leading to
advances and breakthroughs in brain
and behavior research. Since 1987,
the Foundation has awarded more
than $379 million to more than 4,500 scientists in 35 countries worldwide.
We take a long term approach
to development, working with and investing in war-affected communities
to help disrupt cycles of poverty and violence. War Child’s programs provide children and their families with access
to education, economic opportunities, and justice. Working to protect the
most marginalized and vulnerable children where the needs are greatest, War Child operates in many of the most volatile regions of the world.
We are driven by the vision of a world without hunger. Our mission is to end hunger in our lifetime by providing food and life-changing aid to the world’s most vulnerable and creating a global commitment to mobilize the necessary resources. We focus our feeding programs in areas where we can have a real impact and expand our hunger-fighting programs beyond meal packaging and distribution.
We are the first and leading international abolitionist organization to identify the trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation of women and girls globally as gender-based violence and discrimination. We work to prevent and end these severe human rights violations through public policy and legislative reform, support of grassroots and survivor leadership, and campaigns to change hearts and minds.
“Tell Us What You Want To Do For The Ocean, We Will Take Care Of The Rest." We work to support marine
conservation in order to promote
healthy ocean ecosystems and benefit
the human communities that depend on them. TOF does this by increasing the capacity of conservation organizations, hosting projects and funds, and supporting those working to improve the health of ocean species globally.
We bring animals from crisis to care and strengthen the bond between people and animals. We shelter and care for animals displaced by natural disasters and rescued from mass cruelty through our RedRover Responders program. We provide financial assistance, resources and emotional support to pet owners and Good Samaritans to help them care for animals in life-threatening situations, and help victims of domestic violence escape abusive environments with their pets through our RedRover Relief program. We help children understand the emotional states of animals and people, develop the skills needed for empathy and explore the bond between people and animals through stories and discussion through our RedRover Readers program.
